The Summer I Turned Pretty: The Movie is currently in the process of filming, and due to the fact that they use real locations instead of sound stages, the set…isn’t exactly off-limits to fans. As a result, there’s been a lot of blurry footage of Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah circulating around social media, and the latest? Fans have seemingly caught the movie filming Belly and Conrad’s wedding at Cousins (it's pretty easy to find on Twitter if you feel like searching), and let’s just say everyone is thrilled that Belly seems to be in an actual wedding dress.
As a reminder, the show’s official Instagram released a statement last month asking fans for privacy as production on the movie continues.
“We love the excitement, but sharing locations and visiting set disrupts filming and creates real safety concerns for our cast and crew,” they wrote. “We’re working hard to create a protected bubble to make the best movie possible. Please help us protect the magic of Cousins until it’s ready to be shared.”
The Summer I Turned Pretty: The Movie will wrap up Belly’s love triangle with brothers Conrad and Jeremiah. Author Jenny Han released a statement saying, “There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due. I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans.”
Fans are certainly hoping that milestone is a wedding to Conrad (judging from the book and the blurry footage), but we’ll see!
